High Performance Coaching

Led by our Head Coach, Jim Allenby, we are proud to work with many current and future professional cricketers. Not only technically focussed, but Jim is also a qualified performance coach. He works with a number of players on goal setting, mindset, season planning, event preparation, as well as dealing with setbacks. Players from school age, to International Cricketers, have benefited from this. An ongoing program of improvement, the results have been pleasing so far. Jim represented Western Australia in 2006/07 and 2013/14. He played county cricket in England, representing Glamorgan, Somerset, and Leicestershire – playing over 400 games in his professional career in the UK. Making over 14,000 runs and taking more than 450 wickets in a 15-year professional career.

Jim captained over 100 games in professional cricket and is a Cricket Australia Level 3 coach, the highest qualification available..

Jim also played over 240 games of WACA First Grade for Claremont- Nedlands, scoring over 10,000 runs with 15 centuries. While also taking over 250 wickets at 20.97. His 4-year tenure as Head Coach saw an unprecedented 7 premierships, and a number of players move on to higher honours as well as Jim personally securing the WACA Premier Grade Coach of the Year 2019/2020.
